If i lose muscle, would it be easier to stretch my legs?

Well, in dance (which is why i wish to be so flexible), kids start stretching when they're 3 and don't hold much muscle on their legs yet. A lot of dancers legs (ballerinas, anyway), hold pretty thin legs (or so it looks). I be wondering, I have pretty big calves, and stretching is kinda concrete for be to get used to. Would I hold better luck if I lost some of the muscle in my legs? If so, i know how to gain muscle.. but how to i LOSE it?If i lose muscle, would it be easier to stretch my legs?
Many dancers hold thin legs because leap tends to tone the existing muscle minus building too much more of it. Their flexibility is directly related to the amount of time they've spent stretching (and some of it may be linked to genetics), not to the size of their legs. For instance, my dad is a cyclist and have very muscular legs, nonetheless he is very flexible. Size doesn't issue. Just keep stretching and you'll take there.
NO, IT WUD BE BETTER TO HAVE IT. U HAVE TO KEEP STRETCHING IT TILL THAT LITTLE STRETCHING BECOMES EASY, THEN U MOVE ON TO A HARDER ONE, ECT.
EX: SPLIT--> GO SO FAR DOWN TILL ITZ EASIER TO GO THAT FAR AND GO LOWER TILL ALL OF ITZ EASY AND U DO A SPLIT (HOW I LEARNED)
