i am a 17 yr guy who is quite skinny. i want to tone - tag on muscle to my upper body area (primarily my pecks), but im wondering if i involve to do cardio workout (running, swimming) as well. Is it possible if i can tone my upper body by simply lifting weights & by using machines ?If i want to tone my upper body (chest & arms) do i entail to do cardio workout too?
cardio is a must for everybody, go running for your cardio and yes swimming is worthy for your upper body, chest, back, shoulders and arms you should start doing pushups and verbs ups, if you want to bulk up, try using an amount of weight you can single do a set in between 5-10 , if you want to tone you should start lifting weights that you can elevate about 20 or even 30 times, i would do pushups for your chest and arms, heave an amount of weight you can do just about 15 times that should be good.
Swimming is really biddable in developing upper body muscles.
It is other best to do balanced exercise otherwise you will look top substantial. Cardiovascular (aerobic) exercise is needed for a minimum of 20 minutes a day at a constant rate to in truth tone the heart muscles. Good old fashioned walking is excellent. No angelic having a big body that the heart can't pump satisfactory blood to keep going.
